Lawn dethatcher: effectively combats moss in the lawn
Moss can have a very cosy and attractive effect in nature, at least according to woodlice, spiders and insects that like to settle there. At home in the garden, however, most people would rather have a lawn that is as moss-free as possible. By giving the grass more space and air to grow - and preferably fertilising it as much as possible - you can help your lawn to fight back against stubborn moss. At Greenworks, you'll find flexible and easy-to-use lawn aerators that are ready to take on the challenge!
Invest in an aerator to combat moss
Moss has the ability to take over the lawn quite quickly - especially if large parts of the garden are in the shade, it is relatively likely that moss will thrive on your property. Moss likes acidic and nutrient-poor soils, but cannot tolerate sun and dryness. Greenworks offers a scarifier that effectively combats moss by cutting deep into the lawn with long, sharp blades. The roots are cut off and separated from the moss, allowing the lawn to breathe better and making it drier at the same time.
Lawn aerator with collection tray - avoid spreading cuttings
One of the many advantages of our lawn aerators is that they are equipped with a collection tray. A collection container is not only practical for you, as you can leave the rake or leaf vacuum in the shed, it also has a positive effect on your lawn in the long term. If you use a lawn aerator without a collector, there is a high risk that a lot of cuttings will spread, even if you rake up the loose moss carefully. The cuttings, in turn, can lead to even more moss growing the following year.
Enjoy quiet and smooth battery operation
With a battery-powered lawn aerator, you avoid all the annoying attributes that usually occur with a petrol-powered version: For example, your ears will no longer be bothered by loud, shrill noises and, in addition, you avoid breathing in dangerous exhaust fumes. The only thing you need to remember before use is a charged battery! Our lawn aerators are therefore completely cordless, which means that you no longer have to worry about anything to do with sockets and extension cables.
